Where Language Meets Creativity: Empowering Students through Spanish Literacy and the Arts

About The Programs

Language Immersion Learning in partnership with Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) and the Marshall Learning Center are pleased to offer a free, arts-integrated summer program for eligible elementary students that promotes language and literacy development in Spanish through immersive activities including stories, songs, games, and the arts. Our programs are appropriate for native Spanish speakers as well as those learning Spanish as a second language.

Who is Eligible

For our full-day programs (Germantown and Marshall Learning Center), we also provide English and Math support as needed to help students stay on track. This program is free for eligible students:

Tier 1: English Language Learners, specifically Spanish-speaking students with limited English proficiency

Tier 2: Students scoring below grade-level in reading or math

Tier 3: Students from low-income households (FARMS-eligible or experiencing economic hardship)

Tier 4: Students with IEPs/504s, especially those with limited access to language-rich environments

Tier 5: General interest participants seeking Spanish language and literacy development
